Games marked on the body of God

This novel questions human free will and subjects its four main characters to what the author calls “silent games”: conventions, agreements, dynamics, and harmful pacts capable of dictating their destinies. The emotional fracture in which the characters find themselves and their search for change is the thread that guides the narrative.

The delirium of an imaginary buzzing sound suffered by the female character, which supposedly sounds like a distorted and badly tuned violin, inspired the creation of the cover. The illustration of a surreal scene in which a broken violin covers a woman’s face was commissioned from the painter David de las Heras. The illustration is also extended to the back cover, reproducing one of the novel’s passages that recalls a painting by Georges Seurat.
