Sérgio Porto Collection
the lyrical and unabashed humour of sérgio porto — one of the greatest Brazilian writers and a notable observer of life in rio de janeiro — is back in a new book collection. well known in Brazil by the pseudonym stanislaw ponte preta, the author has published compilations of chronicles and texts about football, as well as the iconic febeapá — which had the boldness to satirize the absurdity of brazilian government during the military dictatorship. the graphic design seeks to express this witty humour by using bright colours and dotted patterns as key elements. the pictures framed in circles represent the author’s focus on daily life.
