Eloquence of the Sardine
This funny and witty book on marine life reminded me of the work of M.C. Escher which is equally fascinating and playful. His work with symmetry which produced surprising creatures from geometric arrangement was an inspiration for this cover. The author describes the aquatic inhabitants with human characteristics. Therefore, this graphic interpretation of eloquent sardines combines the feelings of precision and subjectivity which fits well for this book.
